/STYLE · LED MATRIX
LED Matrix rebuilds your photo as an emissive dot-matrix display, the look of an LED sign, scoreboard or arcade cabinet. Every cell becomes a glowing LED with bloom, so the bright parts of the image light up. Choose round dots, square SMD, RGB stripe or marquee bulbs, tune the LED pitch and glow, colour each LED from the source or with a solid amber tint, and animate it into a pulsing marquee. Renders live in your browser.

/WHAT IT IS
Drop a photo into the editor and pick the LED Matrix style. The engine samples your image on a regular grid and draws each cell as a single lit LED, adding a soft bloom around the brightest ones. The result reads like a real dot-matrix panel: a stadium scoreboard, a departure board, an arcade marquee or a hand-built LED sign, built from your own image's light and shade.
Because each LED glows rather than just prints a colour, dark areas of the photo fall away into the black panel and bright areas bloom outward, exactly how an emissive display behaves in a dim room. That gives LED Matrix a very different feel from a flat pixel or halftone grid: it looks lit from within.

/HIGHLIGHTS
Round dot, square SMD, RGB stripe and marquee bulb, so the same photo can read as an indicator panel, a modern display or a theatre sign.
The Glow control sets the bloom radius and brightness, so bright cells spill light into the panel like a real emissive display.
Detect each LED's colour from the source pixel for a full-colour panel, or set a single solid tint, amber by default, for classic signage.
In solid-colour mode the LED colour pulses when animated, turning a still photo into a living marquee for signage and night visuals.
/HOW IT WORKS
Drag any JPG, PNG or WebP into the editor and pick the LED Matrix style. Your file stays in the browser.
Choose round dot, square SMD, RGB stripe or marquee bulb, then set Scale for the LED pitch and Glow for the bloom.
Keep colour per-LED or set a solid amber tint, animate for a pulsing marquee, then export as PNG, GIF or MP4.
/CONTROLS
LED Matrix gives you a small, focused set of controls. Each one updates the preview live as you drag it.
/TIPS
/USE CASES
Round-dot and marquee-bulb LEDs turn a photo or headline into a vintage LED sign or theatre marquee, ideal for posters and album art.
A coarse pitch and solid tint read as a stadium scoreboard, a departure board or a stock ticker, a ready-made scoreboard text effect.
High glow and per-LED colour give the neon, lit-from-within panel look that suits cyberpunk key art and arcade-cabinet visuals.
Animate a pulsing marquee and export a loop for signage screens, event backdrops, VJ sets and moody night-time visuals.
/EXPORT
Everything renders in your browser on an HTML5 canvas, so your photo never leaves your device. When you have the panel looking right, export it in a couple of clicks.
Save a still LED Matrix render as a PNG for signage graphics, thumbnails or prints. If you animate the effect into a pulsing marquee, export the motion as an animated GIF or an MP4 to drop straight into a video edit, a social post or a screen at an event. There is no upload step and nothing is sent to a server.
